In Atwater Village :an OC police pursuit comes to an end near a state park

 According to police, a high-speed chase that began in Santa Ana escalated into a foot chase in Atwater Village on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were swiftly taken to Los Angeles County by the individuals inside the alleged stolen vehicle, and the chase went from Lincoln Heights to Atwater Village.

The suspects exited the van and went in opposite directions once they arrived at Atwater Village. Near Rio de Los Angeles State Park, one of the suspects jumped into the Los Angeles River.

By 2:00 p.m., all three suspects had been apprehended.
