It is worth noting that on April 5th, during the second ten days of Ramadan, the Israeli police reportedly attacked worshippers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. This resulted in numerous injuries to Palestinians and the arrest of hundreds of people.
Furthermore, after gaining access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Israel launched a rocket attack on Gaza. In the meantime, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank. This year alone, 96 Palestinians have lost their lives in Israeli military operations.
