During the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final match, Imad Wasim, the all-rounder for Islamabad United, was captured on the dressing room’s big screen smoking a cigarette, sparking a viral video frenzy on social media.
The incident occurred during the 17.4 overs of Multan Sultans’ batting, when the camera panned to Imad Wasim indulging in a cigarette break. Despite this, Imad Wasim managed to secure the player of the match award in the final against the Sultans.
Earlier, during the second eliminator match, captain Shadab Khan had expressed regret over the crowd chanting slogans for Babar Azam instead of supporting Imad Wasim when he entered the field. Fans at Pindi Stadium criticized the all-rounder by chanting Babar’s slogans during the match.
