Syed Zahoor Agha, the PTI’s senior vice-president of the province chapter, was sworn in as the 25th governor of Balochistan on Friday during a ceremony held at the Governor House.
The newly-appointed governor was sworn in by Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Jamal Mandokhel.
President Alvi nominated Yasinzai as Governor of Balochistan in October 2018, and Prime Minister Imran Khan asked him to resign in a letter, after which the former judge resigned.
