Their impassioned gathering caused significant disruptions, including the obstruction of key routes to major airports such as the bustling West Coast Highway, including iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate and Brooklyn Bridge.
In Chicago, police resorted to brutal tactics, resulting in the detention of over 50 individuals, including women, to clear a path to the airport amidst the protest. As traffic came to a standstill, frustrated commuters abandoned their vehicles and belongings, opting to traverse on foot towards their destinations. Consequently, flight schedules experienced delays due to the logistical challenges posed by the protests.
