In yesterday’s match at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar Zalmi secured their first victory in the ninth edition of the PSL. They defeated the Sultans by 5 runs after an intense match at the home ground.
During the match, a large number of fans filled the stadium to support Babar Azam, the former captain, and chanted slogans in his favor. Owner Ali Tareen of Multan Sultans, while recording a video of the fans, remarked that although it was the home ground of Multan Sultans, the chants were solely in praise of Babar Azam’s brilliance.
