Taylor Swift has garnered six nominations for the upcoming Grammy Awards. However, Taylor Swift boyfriend Travis Kelce won’t be able to be there to cheer her on, much as he desires, as he needs to prepare for the Super Bowl.
In an interview with the Pat McAfee Show, the NFL quarterback expressed his regret, saying, “I wish I could be there to support Taylor at the Grammys and witness her winning every single award she’s up for, but I’ve got practice scheduled for Sunday.”
He added, “Unfortunately, I’ve got to focus on this big ol’ Super Bowl we’ve got coming up in a week.”
Kelce emphasized that their relationship is simply about two people supporting each other and enjoying the journey together. He remarked, “We’re just a couple in a relationship, backing each other up and having fun. It’s as simple as that.”
He also mentioned, “I love it when Taylor comes to support me and enjoys the game with family and friends. We cherish every moment, and it’s been an amazing year.”
Despite Travis’s absence at the Grammys, there’s a possibility that Taylor might attend the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.
